What I think (I haven't found a way to check) are generic MS USB Audio codec drivers of some kind. The serial comms make use of Silicon Labs uart drivers but the audio, appears to use I use it for amateur radio communications and to do this a lot of transceivers have effectively a built in sound card and serial port that works over a USB connection. It has the normal Realtek audio hardware that most laptops have. The PC is a new HP pavilion i5 laptop running windows 10 (not pro). I can't switch that activity off anymore, but this is the third time I have had supdates come down and wreck the operation of my pc and force a complete wipe and reinstall of windows. Yesterday windows 10 updates were installed on my pc.
